Gillette Venus Embrace

So in my last post I wrote about all the items I received in the Cosmo VoxBox. I want to talk about the Venus Embrace razor now!

For years now I have just been using cheap disposable razors, usually made for men. I always knew my legs weren't getting as smooth as they could, but I didn't really care. I don't normally wear shorts or dresses, so it didn't matter. But once I received the Venus Embrace, everything changed. My legs have honestly never been smoother! I've even worn a few skirts since using the new razor! And it really is great that they make so many different attachable blades for it. I received a Venus Olay blade as well in the box, and my legs feel so moisturized. I would totally recommend it to anyone. I know I'll continue to use it!

Influenster Product Review #1

I've had some time to try out a couple products in the Cosmo VoxBox, but not all of them. So far I'm really pleased with what I got!

Pilot FriXion Gel Pen: When I first saw these pens (they sent me two, purple and black) I was super skeptical about them. They say that they're erasable gel pens, but the "eraser" part is just a piece of regular looking rubber. But I got a piece of paper and wrote my name on it, and lo and behold it actually erased! My boyfriend went so far as to grab a regular pen and test it out, and nothing. So these pens are truly amazing in my opinion.

Forever Red Perfume from Bath and Body Works: I have to admit, I am NOT a perfume kind of gal. I generally hate any and all of it. But I sprayed a little bit of this on my last night and omg it was perfect. Its a blend of pomegranate, and possibly vanilla? My boyfriend says it sort of smells like DKNY (so, apple-y). Either way, its delicious, and I can DEFINITELY see myself using this perfume on a daily basis.

Venus Embrace Razor: Okay so. Back in the day, when the Venus razor FIRST came out, I tried it, and wasn't that impressed. I HATE shaving my legs, so when I do, I want to make sure they are as smooth as they can possibly be. I've been using disposable men's razors for the past few years (out of lack of money at first, and more recently just out of habit). I used the Venus Embrace last night and my legs are so so so smooth. I am actually really happy with this product!
